Umpqua Dairy Supports 2009 Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day

UMPQUA DAIRY SUPPORTS DAIRY QUEEN MIRACLE TREAT DAY!
(Roseburg, OR) Umpqua Dairy helped support our local Dairy Queen Restaurant by purchasing close to 90 Dairy Queen Blizzards for its employees on Dairy Queen’s annual Miracle Treat Day which was held on Thursday, August 13th, 2009. The Roseburg, Oregon Dairy Queen Restaurant raised over $1300.00 for the cause. They continued a 25 cent donation for every blizzard purchased during the month of August. Every Year on this special day each participating Dairy Queen franchise owner and Dairy Queen Corp. donate a portion of their proceeds to the Children’s Miracle Network. Donations to this cause help fund the medical care, research, and education of 17 million children each year.
