In December of 2007, Wal Mart became the first national U.S. retailer to require that all of our Private Label food suppliers achieve certification under one of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI)standards.

Despite the fact that there were a limited number of certification auditors in the U.S. at the time of our announcement, we are very pleased to recognize that Umpqua Dairy Products, Co was successful in meeting our certification deadline.
